Lumifall Alcoy 540.BC tilting recessed downlight, black and chrome, 82 mm

Name: Lumifall Alcoy 540.BC tilting recessed downlight, black and chrome, 82 mm
Brand: Lumifall

Lumifall Alcoy 540.BC is a round recessed downlight with a black brushed face and a polished inner ring in a chrome finish. The aluminium fitting accommodates one replaceable light source. Its inner ring tilts to change the direction of that light point. The 540.BC designation identifies the black-and-chrome version of the Alcoy series.Check both the opening and the recessThe outside diameter is 82 mm, while the required mounting opening is 70 mm. These figures describe different parts of the installation: the visible frame and the hole in the ceiling. When replacing an existing downlight, compare both measurements rather than choosing a fitting solely because its appearance is similar. The manufacturer's installation diagram specifies at least 90 mm of recessed space. Check the space above the ceiling for the selected bulb and its electrical connection as well. Spring clips hold the fitting in the opening. This is a recessed design, not a surface-mounted spotlight.A separate bulb and up to 25° of tiltNo bulb is supplied. Lumifall specifies a PAR16 halogen source or a suitable LED bulb, with LED recommended. The listed connection is GX5,3 with 2 × 0.75 mm² wires; a GU10 socket is an optional alternative. Match the bulb base to the socket actually chosen and to the electrical installation before purchasing the source. The inner ring tilts by up to 25° in the vertical plane, allowing the light direction to move away from the fitting's central axis. That adjustment does not set the bulb's beam angle. Brightness, light colour and beam spread depend on the separately selected source. A bulb visible in the manufacturer's photographs demonstrates the fitting and does not change the stated package contents. Two finishes within a circular frameThe brushed black surround contrasts with the polished inner ring. Its compact circular form and lack of a decorative shade suit modern, modernist and minimalist interiors. It can be considered in lighting plans for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, entrance halls or offices, with the bulb chosen for the intended role. For corridors and dressing areas, check the spacing of the light points and the available recess rather than assuming that one fitting will cover the whole space.Εμφάνιση περισσότερων
