Gea Luce GSO153 LED pendant light body, matt bronze, 10 W

Name: Gea Luce GSO153 LED pendant light body, matt bronze, 10 W
Brand: Gea Luce

Gea Luce GSO153 is an oval LED pendant light body finished in matt bronze. A circular opening at the bottom reveals its reflector. It is part of a modular pendant rather than a complete hanging light: the suspension kit must be purchased separately. Choose the suspension to suit the ceiling The body is designed for either the GKI150 surface-mounted suspension kit or the GKI150I recessed suspension kit. Both kits have a black finish. This choice determines whether the ceiling fitting remains visible on the surface or is recessed into the ceiling, so it should be checked against the planned ceiling installation before ordering. A magnetic bayonet connection joins the lighting body to its compatible suspension. Wiring and a power supply are included with the body. The spring mechanism that allows the light to be raised, lowered and locked along the cable belongs to the suspension kit. The body on its own does not provide this height adjustment; the appropriate mounting kit is an essential part of the assembled fitting. A defined pool of warm light The integrated 10 W LED provides 737 lm at a colour temperature of 3000 K, with a CRI above 90. Its direct 36° beam concentrates light on a selected area rather than spreading it broadly around the room. For a dining table, kitchen island or restaurant table, the position of the pendant relative to the surface is therefore important. This is a focused lighting element, not a substitute for planning even illumination throughout a larger room. GSO153 uses on/off control and is not dimmable. Do not plan to adjust its brightness with a dimmer. Because the LED is integrated, a separate bulb is not required. Body dimensions and visual character The manufacturer's drawing gives a body height of 110 mm and a diameter of 75 mm. These are not the overall dimensions of the suspended assembly. Its smooth oval outline and lack of ornament suit modern and minimalist interiors, while the matt bronze finish adds a distinct colour accent without a large shade. Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by qualified personnel with the mains supply switched off.Show more
