White LUMINES A HIGH LED profile end cap, no cable hole

Name: White LUMINES A HIGH LED profile end cap, no cable hole
Brand: Lumines

The white LUMINES end cap 12-0021-01 closes an A-system LED profile when the cover is the HIGH type. The face is solid, with no opening for a supply cable. The body is ABS plastic.Cover height before colourThe official A-system card splits end caps by cover height, BASIC or HIGH, and by whether the face has a cable opening. This article is in the HIGH row, without a hole, in the white column. The lower white BASIC cap 12-0011-01 is specified for the lower cover and is not a substitute when the cover is HIGH.If the cable must leave at this end of the run, the white HIGH cap with a hole is the matching article, 12-0021-00. On the assembly diagram the closed cap is item 3a and the open cap is item 3. They are two products, not two sides of one piece. What the article does not includeThe article is the cap alone. The A profile, HIGH cover, LED strip, mounting screw and A HIGH clip are separate items on the manufacturer diagram. One piece closes one end of a length. The other end needs a second cap, chosen according to whether the cable exits there.Profile A is a surface-mounted profile. Lumines describes it for decorative lighting in furniture and interior fit-outs, and for suspended installations. How the profile is fixed does not change the cap: the match is system A and a HIGH cover. A white cap does not mean the aluminium profile is white. Profile A is sold in several finishes, and the end colour is chosen separately.Face, legs and neighbouring codesThe photograph shows a plain white face with no slot, and the reverse with two legs that enter the profile section. Those are two views of one piece, not a pair in the pack. White ABS separates 12-0021-01 from black 12-0022-01, inox 12-0023-01 and silver-grey 12-0024-01. On the current end-cap card, aluminium HIGH caps without a hole use other codes and do not include a white substitute for this plastic version. The cap is not a luminaire. It has no light source, light colour or ingress rating of its own. It does not set a lamp style: it covers the open section and finishes the run at the height of the HIGH cover.Show more
