Trio Kaveri 506060142 garden bollard light, anthracite, GU10, 60.5 cm
Trio Kaveri 506060142 is an anthracite garden bollard with a single conical head on a side-mounted joint. Its die-cast aluminium body combines a slender upright with a round fixing base. At 60.5 cm high, it places the light near the path rather than illuminating the surroundings from a tall garden lantern. Aim the head towards the intended area The installation instructions show 90° of vertical adjustment and up to 350° of horizontal rotation. This lets you set the head according to the position of the paving or garden area you want to light. The adjustment changes the direction of illumination, not the height of the post. When planning several fittings, check each head against the route and the positions from which people will see it. The fitting is 10 cm wide with a projection of 17.5 cm, while the base measures 9.5 cm in diameter. Allow room for the projecting head as well as the upright itself. Plan the base outside the clear walking route, on a prepared surface suitable for secure fixing. Choose the GU10 bulb separately Kaveri takes one GU10 bulb rated at no more than 5 W. The bulb is not included, so colour temperature, brightness and beam angle depend on the source you buy. This is not an integrated-LED fitting with a factory-fixed light colour. The manufacturer recommends an LED bulb; its individual specifications must be kept separate from those of the bollard. For garden paths, entrances and terraces The IP44 rating supports outdoor use and protects against splashing water, not immersion. The fitting can be considered for a garden, entrance area or alongside a terrace. Its simple outline and dark finish suit modern, modernist and minimalist surroundings. A permanent 230 V connection and protective earth are required for this Class I fitting. The instructions show the base fixed to a supporting surface: it is not a spike light to push freely into soil. Disconnect the supply before carrying out electrical installation work.Show more
