Maytoni Ares O309CL-L8GF3K graphite outdoor LED ceiling light 8 W 3000 K IP54

Name: Maytoni Ares O309CL-L8GF3K graphite outdoor LED ceiling light 8 W 3000 K IP54
Brand: Maytoni

Maytoni Ares O309CL-L8GF3K is a graphite outdoor ceiling light with a square footprint and four circular light openings. The metal-and-glass fitting contains an integrated 8 W LED light source. This is the short, square version of Ares, rather than the elongated 10 W fitting shown beside it in the shared series photograph.A compact surface-mounted bodyThe body is 8 cm high, with a width and length of 7.6 cm. Compare those measurements with the available ceiling space or underside of a canopy before planning the installation. This light projects below the mounting surface; it is not a recessed downlight. The instruction drawing shows a plate fixed to the supporting surface, followed by attachment of the body. There is therefore no need for a recess that accommodates the whole metal housing.Warm white, downward lightA colour temperature of 3000 K gives warm white light. The specified light output is 500 lm and the beam angle is 40°. When spacing several fittings, allow for a more concentrated distribution than a wide-beam ceiling light would provide. The four visible openings do not mean four replaceable bulbs: the LED source forms part of the fitting, so separate screw-in lamps do not need to be selected. This version is not dimmable. If variable brightness is part of your lighting plan, choose a fitting explicitly designed for that function. The declared AC 110–240 V supply range includes a 230 V mains connection. Plan the electrical connection alongside the position of the mounting plate.Terraces, gazebos and passage areasMaytoni specifies the series for terraces, gazebos and passage areas. IP54 describes protection against dust and splashing water, not immersion. The small surface-mounted light can also be considered beneath a covered balcony or above an entrance where a ceiling mounting surface is available. Choose the number of fittings according to the area and required illumination rather than the compact body size alone.Straight sides, a graphite finish and regularly arranged openings suit modern, minimalist architecture. The fitting retains a clearly geometric outline instead of a decorative shade.Show more
