Bazar Bizar Merapi Brown Ceramic Cup M

Name: Bazar Bizar Merapi Brown Ceramic Cup M
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

Bazar Bizar Merapi M is a handle-free ceramic cup with a rounded body and brown glaze. A darker lower surface gives way to lighter, irregular tones around the rim, while the inside is glazed as well. As the cup is handmade, the distribution of colour and the appearance of its surface can vary slightly between individual pieces.A low cup for tea, sake and brothThe M version measures 6.1 cm high, 7.5 cm long and 7.5 cm wide. These measurements give a clearer sense of scale than the size designation alone. This is a low vessel rather than a large handled mug. The manufacturer identifies tea, sake and a small serving of broth as uses for this particular version.Removing the handle leaves a simple, compact outline. When choosing it, bear in mind that the body itself is the part you hold. In a kitchen or dining room, it belongs with tableware for drinks and small servings rather than utensils for preparing food.Brown glaze and Japanese formThe restrained shape and visible glaze transitions give the cup its Japanese character. Its rounded profile suits a minimalist table setting, while the irregular surface also works alongside rustic ceramics. Gallery photographs show it with other Merapi vessels; those arrangements do not establish the cup's capacity.Caring for glazed ceramicThe manufacturer recommends warm water, mild washing-up liquid and a soft cloth or sponge. Dry the cup thoroughly after washing. Avoid abrasive cleaning tools and sudden temperature changes, and protect both the surface and rim from scratches or chips when putting it away.Show more
