Luces Exclusivas CALMARE LE75120 LED garden bollard, matt black, 50 cm
CALMARE LE75120 by Luces Exclusivas is a matt-black garden bollard standing 50 cm high. Its rectangular aluminium-and-glass construction ends in a projecting flat head, with the light aperture underneath. Rather than a glowing cylinder visible all around the post, it presents a compact geometric body with light directed downwards.A low fitting beside a path Check the 13 cm width and 15 cm depth against the space available beside your paving. With the head half a metre above the ground, the height of nearby planting also matters when choosing a position. This format suits garden paths, terrace edges and the side of a driveway, outside the vehicle route. It is not a tall street-lighting column for illuminating a carriageway. The IP65 rating supports outdoor use: the enclosure is dust-tight and protected against water jets. It does not mean the fitting can be submerged. Keep the base outside the walking line so that the usable passage remains clear. Spacing between several bollards needs to follow the actual path layout rather than a single assumed distance.Warm white from an included LED The integrated 11 W LED source is supplied with the fitting, so there is no separate screw-in or push-fit bulb to choose. The manufacturer specifies 464 lm and a colour temperature of 3000 K for the included source. This is warm-white light; the figures help with comparison but do not promise illumination over a particular area. The number of fittings should therefore be determined by the individual lighting plan. A 230 V supply is required, which needs to be allowed for when planning the garden electrical installation.Simple lines in matt black A flat head and an undecorated vertical body give CALMARE a modern, minimalist appearance. Its straight edges work alongside linear paving borders and geometrically arranged garden spaces. The matt-black finish remains part of the daytime view, while the glass light aperture is tucked beneath the upper section rather than forming an exposed lantern.Show more
