LED profile LUMINES type W black anodized 1 m

Name: LED profile LUMINES type W black anodized 1 m
Brand: Lumines

LUMINES W 10-0702-10 is a black anodised aluminium profile for recessed linear lighting. This version is supplied as a 1 m section and accepts LED strips up to 12 mm wide. The side edges frame the strip channel, leaving a narrow border around the finished line of light.Recessing into a lightweight structureThe W system is intended for lightweight ceiling or wall constructions. The manufacturer's installation diagrams show spring mounting: the profile enters a prepared opening and the springs retain it from behind the lining. This is different from fixing a complete surface-mounted light onto a finished ceiling. Space for the channel and access to electrical connections should therefore be considered while the structure is being planned. The profile has an external width of 22 mm. Use the W cross-section drawing when preparing the opening rather than treating LED strip width as the cut-out size. The power supply sits outside the profile, so the installation also needs a planned location for that component.Building the light line around system WThis is a structural lighting component, not a luminaire that produces light on its own. A suitable LED strip and its power supply are required to create a working installation. The manufacturer lists BASIC covers, end caps with a hole and mounting springs for the system. Different cover versions are available, making the optical cover a separate choice when specifying the assembly.Sections can also be joined using dedicated straight and angled W connectors. Check each accessory for system compatibility instead of relying on a similar-looking profile shape.A black border within the wall or ceilingThe anodised finish remains visible along the cover edges. Its plain cross-section suits modern and minimalist interiors where the lighting is integrated into the surface rather than presented as a separate lamp body. The chosen strip and cover determine the light colour and brightness; the black aluminium finish does not specify either.Show more
