Maytoni Dallas MOD545PL-20G gold ceiling light, amber glass, 20×G9, 75 cm

Name: Maytoni Dallas MOD545PL-20G gold ceiling light, amber glass, 20×G9, 75 cm
Brand: Maytoni

Maytoni Dallas MOD545PL-20G is a wide ceiling light with twenty G9 holders, a gold-coloured metal frame and amber glass shades. Round shades sit on branching arms, giving the arrangement the appearance of a molecular model. This is the low ceiling-mounted Dallas version, measuring 75 cm in diameter and 25 cm in height.A wide spread without a long dropAllow for the lamp's width when deciding where it will go. Compare its 75 cm diameter with the clear space above a dining table or at the centre of a living room, especially near tall furniture. Its 25 cm height keeps the frame closer to the ceiling than many pendant lights, but you should still check the room height and the clearance left underneath. The branching composition can provide decorative ceiling lighting in a living room, dining room or bedroom. It also suits hotel and restaurant interiors where there is space for a broad fixture. This particular Dallas model has a low ceiling-mounted structure rather than a long adjustable suspension cable.Twenty G9 positions, with light chosen separatelyEach of the twenty holders accepts a compatible G9 light source rated at no more than 28 W. Maytoni recommends LED lamps, but the fixture does not contain an integrated LED module. The light output, colour temperature and energy consumption therefore depend on the compatible lamps selected. The gold finish alone does not determine the colour of the emitted light.Choose light sources with matching characteristics across the shades for a consistent result. The manufacturer lists this model as non-dimmable, so compatibility with a wall dimmer should not be assumed. It operates on 220–240 V AC at 50 Hz and belongs to protection class I, requiring the appropriate protective-earth connection.Glass spheres and a visible metal frameworkThe amber glass leaves the light sources and metal connections visible. Its contemporary character comes from the spatial arrangement of the spheres and branching frame, rather than simply from the finish. The construction remains a decorative feature when switched off. The round ceiling canopy measures 15 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm in height; compare this with the existing ceiling outlet before installation. The instruction shows attachment to a ceiling mounting bracket. Electrical installation should be carried out by a qualified person. Maytoni offers an extended five-year warranty without registration; retain the purchase receipt or invoice for any claim.Show more
