Bazar Bizar Sumba Stone #35 Sandstone Figurine, Black, 16 cm

Name: Bazar Bizar Sumba Stone #35 Sandstone Figurine, Black, 16 cm
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

Bazar Bizar's Sumba Stone #35 is a black sandstone figurine raised on an iron stand. Its elongated face has a pronounced nose, round openings and a pale band around the forehead. Light-coloured shells and a cord-wrapped band contrast with the dark stone, giving this small decorative object a clearly defined front and an emphasis on surface detail.A hand-carved piece from SumbaLocal artisans carve the sandstone by hand on the Indonesian island of Sumba. Small differences in colour and workmanship are therefore part of the individual piece: the photographs illustrate the design rather than an identical finish on every example. The simplified facial features, dark surface and contrasting decoration lend themselves to boho and ethnic-inspired arrangements, particularly alongside objects with visible natural textures.Check the space around the standThe overall dimensions are 16 cm high, 7 cm long and 5 cm wide. Compare these measurements with the available space on a shelf, sideboard or console, allowing clearance above the head as well. A slender upright connects the carving to a flat base. The manufacturer identifies it as freestanding and not removable from its stand, so this is a standing ornament rather than a wall-hung mask.Display it on its own in a living room, bedroom or study, or include it in a group of decorative figures. The #35 reference identifies the black head; the other sculptures and candleholders in the styled photographs do not define the contents of this offer.Keep the sandstone dryUse a secure, level surface in a dry interior. The manufacturer recommends removing dust from both stone and stand with a soft cloth or brush. Avoid moisture, harsh cleaning products and abrasive materials, as porous sandstone can stain. Handle the figurine carefully and protect it from knocks and vibration. A styled photograph is not evidence that the piece is suitable for outdoor use.Show more
