LUMINES APA16 plasterboard LED profile anodized silver 2.02 m

Name: LUMINES APA16 plasterboard LED profile anodized silver 2.02 m
Brand: Lumines

LUMINES APA16 is an aluminium LED profile for integration into 16 mm plasterboard, supplied in this variant with an anodized silver finish. Article 10-0414-20 corresponds to a 2020 mm length, or 2.02 m. Its asymmetric section combines an LED-strip channel with the part that meets the edge of the board.Plan the lighting as part of the plasterboard structureAPA16 is intended for recessed, plaster-in installation and linear accent lighting in walls and ceilings. It is a lighting-system component rather than a complete standalone lamp. The board thickness is an important selection point: APA16 is the version for 16 mm board and should not be confused with APA12.The manufacturer's section drawing gives an overall width of 39.4 mm and an overall height of 23.2 mm. Compare these measurements with the space available in the construction, not just the length of the proposed light line. Silver identifies this specific finish; photographs of completed interiors illustrate the system's installation rather than establish the finish of every concealed component.Match the strip, cover and power-supply locationThe current product card specifies LED strips up to 12 mm wide and compatibility with BASIC covers. Choosing the strip and cover is part of designing the lighting. The aluminium profile alone does not determine colour temperature, brightness or control options; those depend on the light-producing and electrical components selected for the installation. The manufacturer places the power supply outside the profile. Allow for that location when planning the construction instead of assuming the hollow section accommodates an arbitrary driver. The straight, architectural form suits modern and minimalist schemes where the accent line is integrated into a wall or ceiling rather than expressed as a separate decorative fitting.Show more
