Sigma FLOW 1 pendant light, black and gold, GU10 41219

Name: Sigma FLOW 1 pendant light, black and gold, GU10 41219
Brand: Sigma

Sigma FLOW 1, article 41219, is a single pendant light with a narrow black cylindrical shade and a gold-coloured detail visible through an elongated opening. Its 6 cm diameter gives it a notably slim outline rather than the broad profile of a conventional lampshade. The material specification combines painted steel and brass-plated steel: the gold finish should not be confused with a solid-brass construction.Allow for the drop, not just the shadeThe shade itself is 20 cm high, while the maximum overall height is 130 cm. These measurements answer different questions: one describes the visible cylinder, the other the space occupied by the suspended fitting. Compare the ceiling height, the height of the surface below and the planned position of the shade's lower edge. A narrow body still needs clearance from any route where people walk.Consider the single drop above a section of dining table, a kitchen island or a bedside table. A longer surface can be planned with several separate pendants, but each 41219 has one light point and its own suspension. It is not the two-light or three-light FLOW fitting supplied as one assembly.Choose the GU10 lamp for the jobThe fitting takes one GU10 LED lamp with a maximum wattage of 10 W. Check the base and wattage, then compare the lamp's lumen output, colour temperature and beam angle. Those choices determine whether the light covers a tighter patch or a broader part of the surface below. The fitting's maximum permitted wattage is not a brightness rating.A black cylinder with a gold accentThe simple tube and thin suspension support a modern, minimalist interior scheme. The gold detail adds contrast without extra arms or a large decorative shade. In a living room, dining space or hallway, plan FLOW 1 around a particular area rather than assuming a single pendant will illuminate the whole room. Additional lighting should follow the room's size and intended use.Show more
