AXO desk lamp red

Name: AXO desk lamp red
Brand: Thoro

AXO by THORO is a red PLA desk lamp designed by Patryk Magiera. A broad cylindrical shade sits above a narrower base, while a rotating upper cover changes how much light escapes from the lamp. That moving cover is a functional part of the design rather than simply a decorative lid.Change the cover, not the bulbThe upper cover can sit close to the shade or open a gap above the light source. Changing its position alters the way light reaches the surrounding area without replacing the bulb. This mechanical adjustment should not be confused with an electrical dimmer: it changes the shielding of the light, not the bulb's stated power.AXO takes one G9 bulb rated at no more than 8 W. The bulb is not supplied, so it needs to be selected separately. Brightness and light colour depend on that choice; the red finish does not specify the light's colour temperature. The manufacturer's instruction drawing places the on/off switch on the cable, rather than on the lamp body.Allow for the shade and cable routeThe lamp is 28 cm high, 20 cm wide and 20 cm long. Its dimension drawing distinguishes the 20 cm diameter, 8 cm high shade from the 9 cm diameter base. When placing it beside a monitor, books or other objects, allow for the full shade width rather than judging the space by the base alone. Keep the upper cover within reach for adjustment. The black cable is 200 cm long, and the lamp uses a 230 V supply. Compare that cable length with the actual route to a socket before choosing its position on a desk or bedside table.A red accent for work and living spacesThe manufacturer identifies desks, bedside tables, consoles and chests of drawers as suitable locations. Simple geometric shapes and the red body against a black cable support its modern, designer character. For reading or desk work, select the bulb according to the brightness required. AXO is made in Poland and carries a five-year warranty.Mostrar mais
