Gea Luce GES981 white LED step light 3 W 4000 K IP65

Name: Gea Luce GES981 white LED step light 3 W 4000 K IP65
Brand: Gea Luce

Gea Luce GES981 is a white square LED step light designed for surface mounting on a wall. Its die-cast aluminium body houses a polycarbonate diffuser and the included LED module. The recessed area beneath the upper edge gives it a different appearance from a flat panel that illuminates across its entire front face.Check the wall space, not a recess sizeThe fitting measures 10.5 cm wide by 10.5 cm high, with a maximum depth of 2.2 cm. Compare those dimensions with the available wall area and the position of the electrical supply before choosing a location. The manufacturer's instructions show a base fixed to the wall, followed by attachment of the front cover. This is not a fitting intended to have its whole body recessed into the wall.Straight edges, a white finish and the absence of ornamental details suit modern and minimalist settings. The square remains a visible part of the wall rather than a light point concealed within plaster.Fixed-output light for orientationThe integrated LED uses 3 W and provides a 4000 K neutral white colour temperature. Gea Luce specifies 212 lm and indirect light distribution with a 120° beam angle. These characteristics suit orientation lighting beside steps and along circulation routes, rather than lighting an entire garden. Choose the spacing and number of fittings to match the actual staircase or passage. The LED module is included, so there is no separate bulb to select. GES981 uses on/off operation and is not dimmable. Allow for that fixed light level when planning the switching arrangement.Outdoor placement and electrical installationThe manufacturer identifies this as an outdoor step light with an IP65 rating. It can provide orientation light on a façade, beside a terrace or on a masonry boundary wall next to a passage. It is not intended for immersion in water or installation in a walking surface. The supply is 220–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz. Qualified personnel must install it according to the instructions with the mains voltage disconnected. For cleaning, the manufacturer recommends a damp cloth with mild detergent, followed by gentle drying with a soft cloth. Cables and electrical components must not be exposed to water or detergent.Mostrar mais
