Quintiesse Saucer flush ceiling light in aged brassSaucer is a one-light flush ceiling fitting from Quintiesse for interiors that need a composed but distinctive ceiling detail. At 22.9 cm high and 36.6 cm in diameter, it has a compact footprint while retaining a clearly shaped presence. The manufacturer combines a steel body in an aged-brass finish with cased opal glass. This pairing brings a warm metallic note to the soft glass surface and gives the design its mid-century modern character. The fitting takes one replaceable E27 lamp, with a maximum wattage of 40 W. A lamp is not supplied, allowing the light source to be selected for the intended setting. The fitting is compatible with dimmable lamps; actual dimming depends on the chosen lamp and a compatible installation. Quintiesse specifies 220–240 V, 50 Hz operation and Class I protection.Interior use and proportionThis flush ceiling light is suited to an entrance hall, kitchen or another interior living area where a low-profile ceiling fitting is useful. The opal glass conceals the lamp, while the aged brass finish adds restrained decoration rather than elaborate ornament.
