Norlys Rimini 250WH white garden bollard light, E27, 47 cm

Name: Norlys Rimini 250WH white garden bollard light, E27, 47 cm
Brand: NORLYS

Rimini 250 is a low garden bollard shaped like a classic lantern: a hexagonal head with clear panes, a pointed roof with a finial and a profiled stem on a round base. The cast-aluminium body is powder-coated white (RAL 9003), and the panes are made of UV-stabilised polycarbonate. Size and where it fits The light is 47 cm tall and 19 cm wide and deep. It is meant to mark paths, borders and the edge of a terrace rather than to light a whole garden from above, so compare the 47 cm with the height of the plants that will grow next to it – the head should stay clear of leaves. Norlys designed Rimini 250 for gardens and terraces. The style is classic: the roof finial, the paned head and the distinct base are details of a traditional street lantern. The same model is also made in black as 250BL. Bulb and light The bollard has an E27 socket and is sold without a light source. The manufacturer allows an LED bulb of up to 9 W in the A55–A60 shape, i.e. a standard pear-shaped bulb; wider decorative bulbs will not fit inside the head. The bulb is replaced by the user. Because the panes are clear, the bulb stays visible and sets both the colour and the brightness of the light. An 806 lm LED bulb gives roughly as much light as an old 60 W one, and for gardens warm 2700–3000 K light is the usual choice. Installation and power The light runs on 220–240 V mains and has protection class II, so it needs no protective earth conductor. IP54 means protection against dust and splashing water from any direction, so the bollard can stand outdoors without cover. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next light, so several bollards along a path can run from one cable. The cable gland fits round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. The concreting anchor (art. 307) is sold separately, and the manufacturer offers a diffuser service kit as a spare part.Näytä lisää
