Nordlux Leonis 49160101 recessed LED downlights, set of 3, white, 2700 K, IP65

Name: Nordlux Leonis 49160101 recessed LED downlights, set of 3, white, 2700 K, IP65
Brand: Nordlux

Nordlux Leonis 49160101 is a set of three white recessed downlights with integrated LEDs. A circular plastic trim surrounds the milky light-emitting surface, leaving a small, undecorated disc visible on the ceiling once installed. This is the 3-Kit version, rather than a single downlight from the same family.Three points of warm white lightThe fixed 2700 K colour temperature provides warm white light. Nordlux lists 4.5 W, 345 lm and a 110° beam angle for the fitting. The broad distribution spreads light across an area rather than creating a narrow accent on one object. Compare these figures with the room dimensions and any other lighting when deciding how many sets to use; three downlights are not automatically a complete lighting scheme. The light sources are supplied and non-replaceable. There are no separate bulbs or bases to choose, but the whole fitting must be replaced when its light source reaches the end of its life. This version cannot be dimmed, so it does not offer the adjustable brightness of a dimmable LED downlight.Allow for the installation spaceEach fitting measures 8.5 cm in diameter and its body is 3.6 cm high. The installation requirement is different: the documentation specifies at least 4.6 cm of height. Check the instructions and the available space above the ceiling before cutting openings, rather than relying on the body height alone. The fittings must not be covered with thermal insulation. They connect to a 220–240 V mains supply and allow parallel connection.A simple ceiling detail for indoor roomsNordlux specifies indoor use, including bathrooms. The mounting instructions distinguish IP65 on the room-facing side from IP20 above the ceiling; a qualified installer should assess the bathroom location against the applicable zones. The plain circular form suits modern and minimalist interiors. Hallways, kitchens and living rooms are also possible applications where the ceiling construction allows recessed installation.Mostra di più
