Trysil 1101AL is an 85 cm NORLYS bollard made from an extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated in light grey (RAL 9006). The shaft has a 50 × 110 mm cross-section and bends at the top into a horizontal arm that reaches out 34 cm. Inside the arm, a Cree LED module sits behind a sealed clear PMMA lens and shines downwards.How much light, and what kindThe luminaire draws 7.4 W and delivers 694.8 lm; the module alone gives 828 lm, so compare other lights against the luminaire figure. 4000 K is neutral white, cooler than a household bulb. Ra 80 is the usual standard for garden lighting, and SDCM3 means several bollards in one row shine in the same tint.The Ledil VSM lens gives an IESNA Type V distribution: a symmetrical pool of light around the bollard rather than a narrow strip. ULOR 0% and the BUG rating B1-U1-G1 tell you the light goes onto the ground, not into the sky. Norlys can fit a different lens type to order.Dimming, driver and servicingThe bollard is phase-dimmable, trailing edge only. The Philips Xitanium TE driver is included; a leading-edge dimmer will not work with it. The LED module and the driver are replaced by a qualified service, and the maker offers repair kit ZS1101zx0009. The LED is rated L90 109,000 h and the driver 50,000 h. The inrush current of 3.36 A for 36 µs is the figure that decides how many bollards can share one circuit breaker.Installation and toughnessThe bollard weighs 4.2 kg and is bolted down through four ø8 mm holes on an 18 × 50 mm pattern. The concrete-in anchor 1907ZX0009 is sold separately. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and loop-through wiring up to 3 × 1.5 mm² lets you feed further bollards from one cable run; the gland takes a round cable up to ø12.5 mm. Protection class I means the earth conductor must be connected.The luminaire is rated IP65 and its optical unit IP67, so rain and water jets do it no harm. IK08 impact resistance matters along paths and driveways. It operates from −20 to +45 °C.
