The Maytoni Drop MOD273PL-L16CH3K is a single pendant from the Modern collection. Its glass column stacks two smoked spheres, one above and one below, around a textured clear-glass shade. Chrome rings join the three pieces. A round chrome canopy connects to the fitting by a thin transparent cable. 339 cm is the maximum drop, not the shade height The canopy is 120 mm across and 40 mm high. The glass elements measure 100 mm and 110 mm in diameter. The technical drawing gives 332 mm for the glass column, 125 mm for the middle shade and 87 mm for the lower section. This is a narrow vertical accent, not a wide shade that covers a tabletop. When you plan the position, the lower sphere matters more than the 12 cm diameter. The figure 3390 mm is the maximum height of the whole suspension, from ceiling to the lower edge. Maytoni also states a minimum height of 472 mm. The specification drawing marks the cable range as 100–3000 mm, and the Drop series text gives a maximum wire length of 3 m. The length is set during installation. Compare both limits with your ceiling height and with where the lower sphere should sit. The fitting itself weighs 1.3 kg net. The 1.7 kg figure is the gross packaged weight, not the weight of the glass alone. Integrated 3000K LED, with light all round The LED module is built in and supplied with this fitting. There is no replaceable E27 or G9 bulb, so colour temperature is not chosen by buying a separate lamp. Drop wall lights with a G9 cap are different articles in the same series. This model is 16 W, 3000 K, 2000 lm and CRI 80. The beam angle is 360°, not a narrow downward cone. Light leaves through the textured middle and through the smoked spheres to the sides, so the pendant reads as a glowing column. Those 2000 lm spread around the glass rather than forming a tight pool on the table. Dimming is not provided: a wall dimmer will not control this module, and a plain switch is the matching control. Supply is 220–240 V AC at 50 Hz. Protection class I means the circuit needs a protective earth; this is not a class II fitting. IP20 limits installation to dry indoor rooms and rules out a bathroom or outdoor use. The energy label for this article shows class G and 16 kWh/1000 h. Maytoni states a service life of 50,000 h. Dining table, island and workspace Maytoni describes this chrome model as a slim 3000K pendant for a modern dining area or a workspace. One purchase is one light point. A longer table or island needs separately bought pendants; an interior photograph with two fittings is not a pair in the box. This is not a multi-arm chandelier. Chrome and smoked glass belong to the contemporary Modern collection, not to a historical modernist reconstruction. Installation is to the ceiling, on a round canopy with a side screw.
